Just got out of seeing the midnight showing of Spiderman and my friend jumped in the car with me. He said he drove these all day( we work on the docks we drive all the lexus, infiniti, toyota, bmws, mercades etc off the ships).

He was lookin at my interior( a 2004) and said it looks abit diffrent. Having seen the pic I ask him if the AT one had a leather type boot around the shift **** of whatever ya call it on a AT. He said yes it did then he pointed at the clock and said it wasent there anymore. I said oh was it up between the AC temps and he said yes I think so.

Unless he's seeing into the future there are 2005s on the docks right now. My GFs aunt just died so I am buisy this week but I am gonna try to get over there soon and see if I can get some pics of the new cars. Maybe som pics of the 19 inch wheels.

 

Perhaps he was drinking too much or driving a new Scion...

Thats funny cause the 05 lineup comes out around october and they are taking pre-orders around september...you know what they say----"Don't drink the bong water!"

well... last year at least, the first 04 orders went in June and vehicles were delivered around September. Maybe what your friend saw were some special orders for show rooms or something like that. But if it works the way it worked for the 04 models, the 05 ones should be on the road this September.

hhmm ya guys think these things just appear on show room floors? These things have to be loaded onto trains to hit all of america. they have to be checked to see if they took any damage on the voyage over. They have to be put in the computers and sorted out where they are going. This ship had 4000 nissans and infiniti on them. With I bet you still have a few thousand of the 2004s on the lots. When they come off the ship they arnt organized they are parked in rows of 10. So once thats done lets say they need the middle car, thats 5 cars they have to move to get to a car thats going to New york.

Well anyways I am gonna try to get out there this Friday to see whats there. If I see anything diffrent lookin I will be taking pics.

 

They also typically bring over a bunch of pre-production cars for the media and Nissan to play with early. Perhaps they just brought a small amount of '05 G35's.

Okay I believe you too, but here's the thing.... If these cars are coming from overseas, how is your friend allowed to simply walk and look in car on the dock.

I don't know anything about shipping, but what about customs? What keeps you guys from moving drugs missiles ext. out of cars that come into port?
