Dealership Hurt Her!

I wish this was an April Fools Joke...

So, I took her in for the 30k service... not the full service, just a few necessary tidbits. The loaner was in good condition and all was well... until I got a call yesterday afternoon that there had been a slight problem, the tech didn't realize I had a body kit on the car

In short, their lift broke both replica KS skirts. They are willing to replace the skirts at not cost to me but didn't know where to get them from. Now, after having the KS skirts from a not so great distributer I want to get the new ones from Eric as he seems to be the best. I have worked it out and given the info to the dealer. I am leaning toward IM sides and that is what I told the Dealer to order from Eric (but 2 week backorder ). It still has to go through the management chain so we shall see what happens!

That sucks but the good thing is your dealer took the responsibility to take care of you and not try to screw you over.

One more reason NOT to go to Infiniti for anything, mechanic obviously wasn't paying attention! Referring to them as mechanics
is a full on stretch, the mechanics at my dealership were washing cars a year ago....so much for training!

Eh, so long as they fix it I will be happy... and they will be giving me a loaner during the process so that works best for me.

haha, I am actually not that upset with them. Everyone makes mistakes and it is how you handle your mistakes that I care about. If they do make this right, replace the skirts and they look good on the car then I have no ill thoughts about the dealership.

I do worry about their ability to install aftermarket equipment though... I guess their bodyshop has knowledge of such installs... but then again, maybe not. I might call today and find out if I can just order the parts and have them installed at a shop of my choosing with them footing the bill.... We shall see!

sue? are you retarded.

the dealership manned up to their mistake and offered to replace what was broken at no cost. he's getting new side skirts regardless. and even if they didn't want to replace the sideskirts and you sued them in court, you won't ever get more than what you are out.

^^retarded? really? maybe you havent been to infiniti dealerships or by some random act of God the infiniti dealerships near you are actually DECENT.. don't be so quick to call a person retarded if you don't know what they have been through.. infiniti dealerships from my experience (in socal, with the exception of riverside) need to have their performance and customer support checked.. REAL badly
