SES code! someone please help!

i threw a p1283... i was wondering where exactly that is... i know it's sensor 1 or bank 2... but where is that sensor.... should it be replaced? or could something else be wrong? can anyone in socal help me out?

ya for over 15k miles.... with no SES and i have non foulers... so i'm not sure that'd be the problem.

Sounds like an O2 sensor.... basically you are running lean.

Possible cause:

* Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1 (the sensor itself could be bad)
* Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1 heater (the sensor itself could be bad)
* Fuel pressure (not enough fuel pressure)
* Fuel injector (not enough fuel going into cylinder)
* Intake air leaks (too much air going in)
