The CLS is a good car you can beat it up good and still have no problems. It has a tranny recall but no tune ups till 104k miles.

There was a car meet yesterday, and to park your car indoors, they wanted the cars to have less than 1/4 tank. I filled up last weekend and still had just over half tank left. Drove about 50 miles to the event in 4th and 5th gear trying to waste some gas, and got there with barely over a half tank still... got home with just under half tank...
It's not always great to get good gas mileage...

I honestly didn't get this car for gas mileage. I got it for the looks, sexy stock sound, and everything else I ever wanted in a car. I fell in love with the G the moment I saw it and I even previously owned an 04 as well. So glad I got back into the G.
out of all my cars I owned, this is my favorite thus far, and I cannot complain about the gas mileage whether if it's lightly driving it, or pushing on it a tad bit, if I was to be worried about it, I would have gotten an accord, civic, camry, corolla, yaris, or something of the sort

23 to 24 MPGon average. Unluckily last week I traveled out of town and drove about eight hundred miles, MPG only went up to 25 MPG. My 2K SE Max used to give me 22 MPG, not bad considering I used to floor it all of the time. If MPG is a concern of yours with a G35, sell the d@mn thing. It's not worth it. Repairs on the car and maintenance will eat your lunch. Civics and Sentras rock.
