Ok im fed up with my 03 g35's driver seat. Ive read all about the defective seat rails, and have even done that little adjustment of moving the rail or whatever towards the driver door. Nothing helps. It is a certain tick coming from the left rear rail of my seat, and its driving me up the wall..to the point where i dont even want to drive the car anymore. Someone help and shed some light on what i can do to fix this and not break my wallet.

 

Does this click happen all the time? Like when you go over bumps? Or is it when you move your seat?

 

I get something similiar when I move the seat forwards and backwards.. annoying

 

You need to have the seat frame replaced. Common problem, but expensive if not under warranty.

 

Here's an option for you, the seat railing is worn out so get a new one from a dealership like Riverside Infiniti 1-800-919-8130 ask for Tony. He gives us Driver members great discounts. So now you have the new railing, replace the old one and don't forget to use a lubricant....how's that working for ya?

haha well that sounds like an easy fix but im sure its money for that rail...or at least ive heard...its really annoying..enough that well i dont want my car anymore haha..but anyways im gonna give him a call to see whats up.

 

oh yeah and it clicks all the time...when im sitting in the seat and i push the clutch it ticks...when i shift gears it ticks..when i change the radio staiton it ticks...i dont even have to move...go over a slight bump and it ticks
