they have a gold basecoat with about 4 or 5 coats of thin black over, and then of course a clear coat. in the sun the gold shines through the black, but in the shade it looks all blacked out.

The issue I have with black wheels is you don't notice them, they could be Volks, Works or OEM wheels "Who"d know?" If the centers were polished it would be different, all black.....BUMP!

I actually like it. When I first saw the thread I thought you PC'd your stockers which I would be very against. However I love silver cars with black wheels...I used to have that setup. GL.
