Just recently brought my 06c MT, for a CD changer issue, also asked them to check out the ticking noise from the engine while at idle after running for a bit
it was diagnosed as "Cyl 1 Rod bearing failure"
the work orders states;
Bush 1st shaft
engine short
gasket kit engine
bolt cylinder head
and of course oil etc
the car did not have the OC problem (at least not yet) they had two options to replace a long block or a short block of course infiniti went with the cheaper option, any predictions what could happen in near future that i should keep my eye on, to bring it to the dealer before my warranty expires... could it be a start of a OC problem..

I'd watch it closely after they did the work if it starts eatin oil start b^tchen about it...how many miles on it??
