Well, now that summers here I went a little bit nuts over the past few weeks. Yesterday I put on my JWT pop charger/ztube. Gotta say, I am in love with the sound it makes. The whoosh makes me smile every time I hear it and the new, much deeper growl....well my girlfriend summed it up best, my car now sounds badass. Can't believe I went so long without this. I have the UR pulleys in my back seat, those will be put on Friday morning (the whole set, not just the crank). I just talked to Doug @ Crawford and my plenum will be here as soon as it is made. Technosoft, same story, called up, set to send them my ecu next Friday. Exhaust wise, well, I really can't decide. I know I'll be going crawford for headers and cats, and I'm really leaning towards fujitsubo for exhaust. I'll start ordering my exhaust after my ecu is back in my car. Other things, I'll be grabbing the Nismo sways and Stillen grounding kit from Concept Z in a few days. I love having so many new toys on the way to me right now. =) Honestly thought I was gonna leave this car alone too, but that pop charger sound is just to addictive to let the bug die out on just an intake and plenum. I'll post up a reply tomorrow afternoon on my initial impressions of the UR pulley set.

Ahh lunch time at work...time for some G35driver......


Ok anyway...Yes Im concentrating on doing full bolt ons, and I believe thats where I will stop as far as performance goes. I drive my G every day 35 miles to work (each way) so I'm not looking for a crazy, TT, or SC G35, just don't wanna be out done by the 05s. In total, all that will be done to the car is:
JWT/Ztube, Crawford plenum, Full exhaust, TS ecu, JWT Clutch, Nismo Lightened flywheel, nismo sway bars, HRE 540R rims, Nismo front end, OEM rear wing (passed on it unfortunatly when I got the car, now I want it) and I'm really looking into dropping the car. I dont know how a drop + Nismo front end will work, being that I drive the car every day, but I as it is, Im overly careful with the car so it shouldn't be a problem. What I like is a car that can go into a turn feeling like that's where it belongs. As far as dyno results....7 hp this way or that way really doesnt make or brake my love of the car, however, come the end of the summer, I'm planning on splitting some dyno time with my friend and his 12 second Z28 @ SLP performance. As far as the butt dyno goes, yeah it feels a lil faster, but Im to busy listening to the amazing growl the car has now to notice. 1 person at work asked if I had a new exhaust, another asked if I just went turbo (he swears that when I downshift, it sounds like a BOV). Gotta love JWT. Nothing but praise will come outta me for them for a few days now =).

I'm glad to see u are getting everything that i WANT but dont have the money for and then bragging about it right in front of me... JERK

I work for my father, stack the paper, then spend it on my G Im in college and live at home for first two years, easy to pay off my car and mod it when you have no other expenses!! Im already 2g's into it, damm... Another 1500 being put in on Monday, I love it but now I keep realizing im not even keeping the car. Stupid me and stupid leases dam!

Well, Im 20 (21 in sept) and I work two jobs. My first one is 9-5 monday-friday at a distribution company. Specializes in video games which is why i called the technosquare ecu the technosoft. Oh well. I work there in both the accounts recieveables and accounts payables departments. Then I also work for a property management company every saturday doing all of their AR/AP work. The company isnt that big so it works out well. I make payments on my car and pay rent, as well as auto insurance and utilities. Besides that I have no credit cards so I have no other bills. As soon as I pay all my bills for the month (which happen to all be before the 10th every month as far as due dates) I use the next few weeks checks into my car. Plus its summer so I don't have that urge to save every paycheck as long as possible. Gotta wake up an hour early tomorrow to drop the G off before work for the pulleys, by the time I get out it will be done. Hopefully Ill like them as much as the intake. Doug from crawford told me 3 weeks until I have my plenum (oh well but waiting seems to be a trend with this car) so I have to sit tight until then. As long as I dont have any unexpected needs for huge amounts of money any time soon (prays no drunken idiots hit my car). Ill be done by the end of the summer.
