Nissan V35 Coupe (Japan Spec) Inquiry

Hi guys, I come from far Asia and tumble across this forum. At my place there's only Nissan V35 available. But seems there's alot of different package, would like to know if you guys familiar with the Japanese spec can list out all the variants available, as I know V35 & G35 are basicaly the same car, they do come with different accessories.

I'm looking for a 6 speed manual.

Do they come with Brembo brakes, LSD, is 1, 1.5way or full lock like the G35?

Is there a way to tell if the car has LSD? Is jacking the rear up & turning the wheels mean that it has LSD if the other wheel is turning in the same direction?

Also is there an easy way to tell which package it is as most grey importers here probably have no idea what they are selling.

All 6MT's come with sport package standard. On 2003-2004, this includes Brembo brakes. On 2005-07, it has the 19" rays. I think the VLSD is standard on sport packages.

Infinitihelp.com has a list of all the packages, so you can check there and it will show you everything a package includes.

Guys, I have seen the G35 spec, both new and old (V35 & V36) in one of the website. Even though it says V35 I'm sure the website is refering to G35 since the only skyline with 315hp is the new V36 (New G35).

I would like to know about Japan Spec V35 (not V36 a.k.a new G35) since that's the only model available where I am.

Does the Brembo & Stuff apply to V35 Japan Spec too? What about LSD?

I can't really answer all your question as i am new G35 owner as well. To be exact, 1 week old Nissan Skyline 350gt all the way from japan (not rebadge). What year are u looking at?? 03-04 G35 does have brembo brakes. 05-07 have 19 inch rays (no brembo option at all). VLSD comes standard with sport package which comes standard with 6MT coupe V35/G35/Skyline 350gt. The packages offered by Nissan or Inifiniti are mostly similar just that japan have more (and imo better) options.

There's might be one major difference though between Japan spec and US spec. It looks like my 06 350gt don't have Rev-Up unlike G35 (judging from my redline which is 6600-6700rpm when Rev-Up version should have 7000rpm) which is ok by me as i dont have to worry about oil consumption issues.

So as long as it's 6MT it comes with LSD & Harder Suspension? V35 Japan Spec.

The 03-04 Brembo are better than 05-07 brakes? Are they bigger?

the stopping power of the brembos are equal to that of the 05-07 brakes however the brembos are less susceptible to brake fade.

V35's have multiple engine choices overseas
depending on the year there was 2.5L V6 Direct Injection (VQ25DD), 3.0L V6 Direct Injection (VQ30DD), or 3.5L V6 (VQ35DE)
the VQ35DE's maximum output was 298HP with the Rev-up engine

300+HP was not achieved until the VQ35HR in the V36
