I got my 03 AT silver G35 coupe on my 18th birthday, traded in and got a fully loaded 6MT a month and half after. I pay every single penny on my car from top the bottom. Been dreaming of this car ever since I was a freshmsn back in HS when it was first introduced in 2003. A guy with G35c was rolling in and out of my high school everyday and I told myself one day that's going to be ME! Indeed, I agree with what everyone else says, it's not a good idea for a teen to handle such powerful car at such a young age. I admit, I've came across many life n death situation with my G. Nowadays, I drive no more than 80 just crusing down the way. Not just because I have a set of really decent wheels and would like not to fvck it up, but also because I value my life much much more as I grow older. Teens mostly think they are OLD ENOUGH to handle and be responsible for things yet most of the time they have absolutely NO clue of them. Need a better elaboration? Let's put it this way, can you control yourself not chasing after someone after they come up to you and rev at you? Try not to cut someone off to make the exit instead of slowing down and get behind someone?? Or the easiset one yet the most critical one, driving under the influence??? Like I said, I don't think a teen should handle a car like g35c because I myself am not even a very responsible teen. And until we learn how to have responsibility, we all shall take a step back and appreciate what we have.

I have to believe that most of the "yes every teen should be allowed to have one of these" is written by a) a teen or b) an adolescent adult LOL, or c) an adult who was the total boyscout as a teen and never did everything "wild"........

I believe what I do because i remember what it was like at 19 driving 120 miles an hour or getting the dozen speeding tickets I received or the 5 cars I wrecked. Those proponents of the teen driving 300 hp sport coupe obviously have little experience if they cannot relate to any of this.

 

I (16) think its kind of a bad idea to give a teen a car that makes just under 300hp......although i would KILL to own a G, i would be kinda scared to own a car that powerful, especially with how inexperienced i am...right now, i have a 92 camaro (v6....EXTREMELY SLOW 0-60 in like 12 seconds) ......and my dad said that as long as i can pay for the car, most of the insurance and gas, then i can get pretty much any car i want....but first i have to prove to him that i can be trusted with a car that is that fast.......which will be easier for me than if other teens wouldve had parents like mine cause i think that alchohol tastes AWEFUL , i dont do drugs(too scared of the side effect), and plus my dad says that i drive like my mom (shes never been in an accident, EVER).....just my .02

I drove the G fine on the roads when i was very inexperienced, i just wished i could have seen out of it better damn blind spots. i had a few close calls when i didnt look over my shoulder tho
