Totaled my Z, Picked up a G...with pics! And Questions!

No one was hurt, but my Z was totaled more than a week ago. Luckily, I found a good deal on a 6 speed 2003 G35 Coupe! I'm loving the G so far, much more quiet and refined...not as twichy on the freeway, but I'm not sure I like to the slower response to steering inputs.

I am really confused though. The G has 18" wheels with Brembos, sunroof, bose, and heated seats, but no spoiler, splash guards, or aluminum pedals either. However, the G does have the newer armrest shifter area, (not just a clone of the Z's) so I'm sure it's a 2003.5.

I just have no idea what "packages" this car has...or if it even has the VSLD...

I've been searching this forum for awhile and I just keep finding different answers...Any help?

Call the dealer with your vin and they can tell you, or just pm it to me and I will look it up and let you know

Do you want to sell the Z?

lol, thanks for he replies guys. Unfortunately the car was totaled out by my insurance company. Maybe you can track it down in a junkyard in the Dallas, TX area. I got an 03 cause it was cheap with 67k miles, and in great condition.

^No not like car fax. I work at the dealer and every car made has a list of the parts that were used(most parts) If I look up a vin it tells me what parts are on the car for replacment, warrenty, ect

My 06 Coupe 6MT has the same exact steering response as the 06 Z I tested. Maybe it's an 03 thing?

Anyhow, im guessing it has the sports package if the brembo's are there. Also, if you have a 6MT, they come standard with LSD.

Stupid question here, but your Z doesn't look that bad after an accident. What makes it total? Airbag deployment? From the look of the picture, the engine area is still fine. Can you not savage the engine?
