Premium package ?

Hi everyone, I've got a few questions I hope someone can answer. First off, yes I have searched but I couldn't find the answers. I'm in the market for an 06 coupe AT (I drive in heavy traffic alot) with everything but navigation. Is the intelligent key always included in the premium package? Or is it possible to get the Bose and bluetooth without the intelligent key? I have been looking for cars online and the ads often times don't mention the IK when the car has the premium package. Also, most places seem to be charging in the mid 20's for 06's with between 20 and 40k miles. Is it reasonable to offer in the low 20's? For example I would like to pay about 20 or 21k and give them my trade which is worth about 2k. Thanks!

Yes 06 coupes with premium have IK, mid 20's that seems a little high

Thanks Beebo. I thought those prices seem a little high as well but KBB says retail for what I want is almost 27k. I know not to pay retail for a G, but I'm just wondering how much to reasonably offer the dealer.

I bought my 2006 LP Coupe 6MT Premium @15.1k miles for $22,000 flat a few months ago in Eldorado Hills, CA, so I would definitely say yes it would be reasonable to offer low 20's for a 5AT.

You shouldn't be really looking at retail... No one pays that price right now.

You should be paying around private party - trade-in value. Especially now since not that many people are purchasing cars.

Good luck!

I suggest looking at PP Fair condition. Almost every car I've seen sell it around there.

Now if you're trying to buy from the dealer, I doubt they will go that low (I've tried).

If you're buying from a dealer there's no reason why you can't make them an offer in the lower $20K, car sales are still in the crapper....you've got nothing to lose. They'll either counter or accept your offer, a good salesman won't just walk away....

My 07 5AT with Nav/prem package/sport package/areo package with 15k on it was purchased in Nov for $24,700 so they are high.

You know, that's what I thought, but he let me walk. They were selling an 03 with 40k miles for $18k. I asked him what he could do with the price, he said $17k.

I explained him the economy, value/age of the car, etc, and offered him $14k. He didn't even counter it. He said he can't do it.

I just feel like the dealer prices are way too high. If the car is worth $14k, they're asking $17k, I would need to start my negotiation point at $11k (so we can meet in the middle), which is just crazy.

Granted, I live in DE where they are pretty much the only dealer with used G35's.

Wow, that sounds like an amazing deal. How much was the place asking to start with? Most of the 06's I've seen with more miles than yours are around that price.

It was on Autotrader/Ebay for mid $25's and I offered them $24,700..they had a $300 processing fee also...they bought the car from an auction as a lease turn in. I ran every check I could on it since I was buying it unseen but I had my in laws take a look at it/test drive it.

I had been looking on numerous websites for about a month and when I saw this deal I moved fast as I had not seen a car with low miles and every option except RWS for that price.

Maybe it is just me but car prices seem to be slowly rising, esp for the Infiniti's...I check Ebay every now and then to see if there are good deals and for 07's the prices seem to be increasing..might be a good sign that the G's hold thier value better than other cars.
