G35 Coupe 03 or wait till 04?
Hello,
Well after lots and lots of research I decided that the G35 coupe 6MT is the car for me.
HEre is the thing though, there are just a couple of things that I do not like about the car, mainly the center console and the door handles. I really think this makes the interior look cheap. So i was wondering, does anybody know when the G35 '04 coupe will be out and does anybody think that inifiniti will enhance the interior a bit since many car reviews have complained about it.
If not i guess i could always buy the current one and get a kit (hopefully they'll make some nice looking interior mod kits)..
was also wondering, i noticed that some of the pics on this site have "Chrome" wheels, are these really chrome wheels or just shiny alloy wheels that look chrome. I think the chrome look on the 18" wheels makes a huge difference and looks absolutely superb in the diamond graphite or black..

Of course, they're not gonna stop making this car after this model year. It's unknown what changes, if any, will be in the '04. Anything posted here or any board is just speculation.

C'mon dude, of course they're coming out with an '04 model (and an '05, an '06........etc.)

i kinda wanted it to be a limited car to be honest.. like the toyota supra.. they barely changed that car in the middle to late 90's...but yet they had it out for a couple of years... so i get what you are saying... i jus hope the new ones have memory seats.. because i realllllllyy need those badly

If it's not one thing, it's another.
The sedan has memory seats. I wish it had memory mirrors to go with it....

They probably won't make too many changes for '04, but '05will have minor exterior changes (front grill, taillights, door handles, etc.)

I don't even use the memory seats. You can have mine. I have it adjusted all the way back.

I've talked to my dealer about the 04's. He doesn't have any info on changes yet. My car won't be here until Jun/July and I've thought about just waiting until the 04's, but as with most cars the updates should be minor/transparent and isn't worth the wait. Plus you are gambling on a possible price increase.

The chrome you saw are indeed real Chrome wheels.
You can get them for about $500 extra, please note that some dealerships will not do this for you, so you have to get it done aftermarket (to have your wheels dipped in chrome)

Some exec was at the dealer when I visited yesterday and I had the same question about '04 model startups. The sales guy tip toed into the SM's office and asked while I was in earshot. October builds for December deliveries. ...dean
