Hi , I was just wondering if any g owners out there that have their license plate mounted on the left or right side of the bumper, instead of the middle?

He probably used double sided tape. Just run with no front plate in the front and eat any tickets you get (if any). Looks a lot better IMO.

Take a chance like the rest of us, don't mount a front license plate until you get a ticket....I won't even post how long it's been since I ran a front plate....that would be bad luck....and I've been very lucky!

No drilling. Got a universal plate bracket at OReillys , I think it was 3 in. stainless bolts (might of been longer), and some big washers. Stuck the bolts with the washer on the inside of my bumper and bolted the universal plate to it and then the license plate to that. It really isn't my favorite thing in the whole world but I dont want a ticket and did not want to spend alot of money for a kit either.

explain how its ricey then, i need to put my plate on without spending 60 bucks plate holder. i think people use the word ricey and dont know the meaning of it. anyways, i really dont care what people think, i can't risk anymore getting harassed by cops and getting ticket. "IMO"

anyways to OP go to hardware store and look at the L bracket, its self explanatory, it should make sense to you once you see it.
