There was a garbage truck in front of my garage just now and I was late for work so I tried to get out by turning a tad too early. I hit the inside of my garage with the front of the rear wheel well. Luckily, the clear bra took the brunt of most of it, but I have to scrape off some plaster or whatever it was and probably repaint some parts and get a new clear bra back there. Do Infiniti dealers repaint small areas or do you think I will have to take it to a body shop or something? I just had to vent. I want to go out and take care of her but stupid work!!!! ahhhhhhh.

im wondering, do you guys think i might be able to press out the dent myself. I will post a picture when i get home from work later, but it is only about 1.5 sqare inches and it is right on the wheel well next to the tire (thank god i didnt get my rim) and i could push it out but there is some sort of well lining in the way. If you guys have any ideas, i would love to give it a shot before spending cash to do it.

Also, do you think Nissan would do it for me? Denver Infiniti is so damn far away.

Now i am an idiot, or maybe the sun is changing its reflection on the car, because the dent is bigger than i thought. Rather i should say dent(s). There are about 3, not deep but ugly looking things that follow the wheel well down to where the clear bra coating would be.

For those of you who have had dents, what was your experience with getting them repaired? I have never had a dent before in any car and im wondering if my baby will ever be like it was. Also, how much does it usually cost, I dont need paint? I mean, this cant be too much since its minor, but we will see. I will post a pic later. ARRRRGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't feel bad! My best friend closed his garage door across the hood of this 3 day old acura.

I was there, and said something like WTF ARE YOU DOING!!! I ran to pull the emergency release but couldn't get there in time.

I do know one thing! His door recoil was set to tight, it almost lifted the back of the car off the ground and didn't retract!

Look up a Paintless Dent Removal person. They can make it look like new! (Don't try your self) The cost for a single dent is around $75 to $90. They will come to your home or work.
