Locked myself out of my car. How do i open the car with the valet key?

I betcha your car was broken into when the previous owner had it by someone jamming a screwdriver into the drivers side keyhole. He probably just covered it up with the escutcheon since that's cheaper than fixing the locking mechanism.

3:36am the key was in my pocket the whole time. FML

somebody stuck a screwdriver in there to break the cylinder.sometimes they break it good enuff to get all the windows to roll down.the previous owner used the passenger side escutehon and cylinder to avoid future break ins.the screw for the cylinder is by the side of the door covered by a black grommet.people do this all the time like switching xenons for regular lamps on i35's.

omg happened again this morning!!! FML

used the cloths hanger again but this time was fairly easy took 5 mins. also used tape on the edges of the hanger so it didnt scratch my windows. i feel like a pro at breaking into cars now

lol vinny.. that sucks that it happened twice..

for my intelligent key, if i leave my ikey in the trunk and close it, it'll open right back up bcuz it detects the key.. i guess it's a safety thing

Yes, it's very ez to break into our G I mean there is no barrier between the glass and the windows. The only thing we have is a rubber seal. Weak!

i'm gonna get mine modded asap.... might even weld an extra peice of metal to block stuff from reaching the lock peice..

ill check when i get out of work but are you saying i still have a key hole? but its covered up?

It's not going to look pretty. Our G is just made that way. Nothing we can do about it.
