I dont have an extra fob key but i have the physical key. Is there a way i can get back into the car without having to call a lock smith?

Didn't your car come with a credit card key holder for the wallet? Or if you're at home, don't you have an extra set of keys or key fob?

My 2004 G35 Coupe has a physical keyhole on the drivers side that I use to roll up the windows sometimes.

you can use your key fob to roll the windows down by holding down the unlock button as well

I know. I stated that I used my key to roll up the windows, since the key fob for whatever reason, does not roll up the windows when you hold the lock key. Ah, that doesn't make sense.

My 03 has a physical key hole like an NORMAL car should......
Whats the point of a spare key if you can't use it!!!???? lol

I didn't know they made G35s without them, seems pointless.

If your car is an '04, it has a keyhole on the drivers side door. Maybe the cars original owner bought an escutcheon to cover it up. I think you have to have the door open to remove it though(at least without breaking it), because it's supposed to be held on by a screw inside the door jamb area of the door(if I remember correctly), and you can pry the escutcheon off with a flathead screwdriver after you remove that screw.

Actually.. I think both the drivers and passengers sides have keyholes, but the passengers one is covered up from the factory by the escutcheon, whereas the drivers side does not come from the factory covered up on the '03 and '04's.

That sucks that you scratched up your tint trying to get in, but I do give you props for actually managing to break into your car with a coat hanger. I keep one of those professional slim jims in my trunk so I can help friends get into their car in the event that they get locked out. I've used it twice on other peoples cars and it works awesome. The only thing is, you gotta be careful using it, because the edges are sharp as hell.. and I got a pretty good gash on my hand the first time I used it.

No key hole? Can you post a pic?

This thread is just pure failure. LOL.

Every G has a keyhole, If your bro was at home, he could have just brought your extra key fob, or you could have gotten in from the trunk. Instead of ruining your tint. lol

Dude, every G came with 2 remotes. And no, I don't see a keyhole on your G. Your G has been thru war though. LOL all those nicks and paint chips.

But yes, you could have gotten in thru the rear trunk.

Anyways, the previous owner probably did something to it.
