I'm tired of the manumatic 5at lag.
I was reading up on the Gordgee or something grounding kit.
Any of you auto owners have a 'fix' for this shift lag, whether if it's grounding kits? or something else.
I'm not looking to upgrade the valve body.

And no I do not want to hear the predicable comments of "get 6mt!"

Thanks in advance!

I have a grounding kit in my car and contrary to what others say I didn't notice any difference in the way my 5AT shifts.

Did you have it hooked up to the trans case? I heard it helps?

Yes, it's installed the way the instructions said it should be. I wasn't planning on seeing a difference, but I figured if I did then it would just be a bonus.

I don't know which to get though, I live in Chicago where summer is hot as heck, and winters are frigid...

Well, I have less lag after installing grounding kit. I do not have "BANG!" impact anymore.

I was going to go with a grounding kit but i heard the sprint booster makes a big difference especially in throttle response. It cost a little extra but i think it would be worth it.

I had Sean install his custom grounding kit on my 5AT and instantly felt the difference in the manumatic, and normal shifting. I used to not like using manumatic mode cause of the lag and jolts between shifts, but now I enjoy using it with the smoother shifting.

I highly recommend his custom grounding kit, you won't be dissapointed

our 6mt has a slight lag also. It because our cars drive by wires instead of cable.
