Power Window Motor Club

Hi Folks....its been a long time since I posted but just had to today. I browsed the coupe forum on wednesday and noticed some postings on failed power window motors....ironically my drivers side motor failed last night. I called my dealer Tustin Infiniti and left a voice mail after hours at service. This morning at 7:30 AM, the service department called and said to bring my coupe in immediately. The new motor is quicker and seems to be more positive (different manufacturer), the job was done in one hour and I'm a happy camper.

Now thats what I call world class service. There are good dealerships out there. And Tustin Infiniti is one.

Joined this club a week ago. Hopefully it doesn't happen when I'm out of warranty.

Got mine done at Infiniti of Charlotte and hate them too. The replaced my passenger and it failed again a month later. The second trip they replaced the wrong window motor. On the third trip they got it right. Only good thing is I now have two new window motors, they detailed my car and had my wheel scuffs fixed.

Re: Power Window Motor Club

I hate my coupe's windows. Brought it in 2 weeks ago to have the pop/tick/creaking TSB done on both windows. Got it back, started getting grease streaks on both windows and the creaking noise still present in the passenger window. Brought the car in again, they did the grease streak TSB and replaced by passenger window regulator. Got it back and there are still grease streaks on the windows.
Now the passenger side window makes a weird noise while going up and down, like the track is dry or not greased enough. So pissed.

Re: Power Window Motor Club

thats why I ask to see the parts that were replaced in any auto repair I dont do myself. sounds like they aren't even replacing what needs to be replaced.
