Data vs Gialla Lip: which 1 is lower to the ground

At first i wanted the INGS+1 front lip, but after thinking about it some more, i decided to go with either the Gialla or Data front lip.

I live in NY (not the city), and one of my main concerns is scraping the lip. Does anyone know which of the lips hangs lower to the ground? That will be a major contributing factor in my decision.

The Gialla lip is urethane, which is obviously a stronger material, but to be honest, I am more partial towards the Data Lip, which is made of fiberglass (easily cracked). What a dilema!!

Also, if anyone has had any experiences with any of the lips, like how often it scratches or how often it bottoms out, or how noticible the scratches are, it would be helpful if you could post your experiences.

Thanks guys,

Evan

Like I told another member, the data systems lip is even with the stock side skirts. I believe the Gialla sits lower.

I will never, never go with a fiberglass front lip again. I, too, used to give into the temptation of a hot looking fiberglass lip, only to regret it when I didn't see that curb/parking divider/etc.

Let's see, should I go with brittle fiberglass that will be shredded with one mistake, or flexible forgiving urethane that will bounce back from impacts?

I vote urethane. (From bitter experience).

I know what you mean about fiberglass but the material that data systems use has somewhat a flex to them. It's not fully the fiberglass that we are use to seeing.

Well, i just ordered the Gialla lip, it should be here in about a week. I also ordered all available overlays from bluebatmobile.com. If I can get my hands on a digital camera, ill be sure to post some pics when everything is installed. Next step: INGS+1 fenders and then Volks!! =0)

Thanks for the input,

Evan

it's already been pointed out but the fiberglass these lips are made of is not brittle but flexible. you're going to damage any front lip if you run into a curb/parking divider/etc. with it BTW, even OEM urethane rips/tears from impacts.
