Hi, I'm new to the forum! I have just put down a 1,000 deposit for a black/willow 6MT coupe w/ aero and premium. It should come in by May. I guess I should be lucky that they're willing to sell it at MSRP, but has anyone been successful at haggling down? Or at the least, should I ask the dealer to throw in some accessories?

I'd appreciate any feedback/advice. Thanks!!

Its not a special order. It's one of the allocated models the dealership is set to get. Actually, they told me that it was a 'bonus coupe' since they were doing so well with coupe sales. Anyways, I live in Virginia Beach...the dealership is Charles Barker Infiniti. They have four others that aren't taken yet: three autos and one more 6mt (white/willow).

 

Btw, it is still a 3 month waiting list at the dealership, unfortunately. I was told sometime in July (hopefully) if I special ordered.

 

yea i have to wait 3 more months and i ordered the beginning of february.

damn! honestly pinay, start calling around. You don't have to wait that long. By that time there might be some other cars out.

You are lucky if it comes in May. Most likely they were getting it in their allocation and it just happens to match what you wanted. I ordered a 6MT from Charles Barker Infiniti in Feb. Wasn't ordered in the March order because they were over their limit, should be in the April order for Jul delivery.
I was told MSRP but we haven't negotiated the final price yet. Let us know how you do with the price when your car comes in.

 

Lucky for me, it is an unspoken for 6MT allocation. I guess you must be one of the 7 people who would have been ahead of me if I were to special order. I'm hoping that I'll at least have some freebies thrown in if I have to pay MSRP.

I was told I would be first on the April order. We'll see in a few weeks. I ordered the Nav system and was told it was rare to see a 6MT coupe with Nav and would definitely take 3 months after ordered.
What freebies are you going to ask for.

 

I'm not exactly sure what kinds of things they might throw in, maybe free oil changes, splash guards or something? I'm hoping that other forum members will share whether or not they received stuff (and what kind of stuff) when they purchased their coupe....

 

It took approx 4 months to get my order in. I received mine first of March. There was NO mark down off of MSRP. On the positive side they did not mark up the car either.

Because of no dealing the buying process was very easy though.
