tonight i was watching the street races in philly and guess what popped out of nowhere? a friggin' EVOLUTION 8. it looked nice, yet looked like the body style was trying to hard... i personally like the evo 7 that's in japan, but that's a whole new world considering its AWD. i was just sitting there wishing i had my car at the moment, and i still can't wait any longer... and when i get my car, people won't believe what a G35 coupe can do... i hope to take that evo one day and rape it... j/k! [img]/w3timages/icons/tongue.gif[/img] i mean i figure it's 267 hp AWD turbo, and the coupes are 280 RWD w/o turbo... i can't even imagine what it would be like with one! all i'm saying is that i can't wait.... it's all on the drive. I prove this to myself over and over. I know I'm not the best drive, but at least I know my car better then many people on the road.

yes the g35c will always amaze you. she amazes me every day, excellent handling and power is just right.

hahahahha rambo. Yeah i would be carfull though the evo 8 is pritty fast you have to remember it weighs a lot less and goes 0-60 in i think just 5 flat or less. It is also geared to accelerate faster because it is a rally car. Dont get me wrong the G is fast but if you want to take the evo i think you are going to have to wait until you reach speeds of 100+ then you should have no problem. Good luck with your new G

 

evo 8 dyno around 180 to the wheel and what i seen of g couple are around 220, so you'll have a chance. driving skills play a big part.

 

If you're talking about e-town, that evo8 was doing mid to lower 12's!

The G is fast trust me. But the EVO 8 is AWD with turbo and weighs less. I believe the EVO does the 1/4 mile in high 13's. It's a econo box on steroids. Plus with AWD the launch is fast. Fortunately it's still a low end rattle can and cannot match the looks, features, comfort, ride, etc. of the G. [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]

The Evo is faster, but we all know it depends on the driver. We are talking half seconds here. I beat a new mustang cobra to 70 mph just yesterday. He technically should have taken me out, but I was a better driver and I made up for the lack of muscle.

haha... my car is supposed to be here sometime in june... they said the latest is july [img]/w3timages/icons/frown.gif[/img] oh hell no would i try to race one w/o any mods... i'm not that stupid! all i know is hopefully by then i could buy some stuff, then maybe one day just whoop that evo. it's a dream, but dreams may come true! but before that i want to try to take my friend's TT supra [img]/w3timages/icons/crazy.gif[/img] and yeah definately it depends on the driver, but i know i got the skills for a girl! just can't wait to race someone and then have them say... "DAMN, I JUST GOT BEAT BY A GIRL!" then i would just laugh in their face...
