I taped it off and sanded and painted it while it was on

 

Wow that color change makes the car pop a lot.

 

what grit sand paper?. how many coats of primer/paint. Any clear coat. Did you do all the same for the grille?

Sorry to wake the dead but I want to paint my "diffuser" also. The process is simple and pretty self explanatory but I wanted to know if it's recommended to finish with any clear coat. I saw someone asked that like a year ago but it was never answered.
