The luxury and comfort we enjoy with our cars. I just dropped mine off at the shop for 4 days and my damn rental car insurance could only give me a PIECE OF SH*T red dodge neon that smells like AS*. I just never realized how comfy we have it until I sit in and drive a piece like this. I cant be seen in it, it's disgusting. This is going to be the longest 4 days of my life, just like when I was waiting for the G to arrive.
Anyways, just wanted to share my woes.

I feel your pain...

My car has been at the auto body shop since Monday, July 5th, and it won't be finished until Weds the 21st (at least, I hope). I am having a body kit/front bumper (color-matched to Ivory Pearl) and vertical doors installed. Anyway, I am cruising is a sweet-azz, top-of-the-line, optioned-out Chevy Cavalier. Okay, so I exaggerated a bit. Anyway, I always wear my sunglasses (even at night) while driving it, as it is shameful to see people blowing past while laughing and pointing fingers at me....

Please, oh please, make this nightmare stop!!!

Sad thing is... I have to drive this thing for another 6 days.....

Talk about being tortured....

Holy crap, you are without yours for a lot longer. Why is it taking so long? Are they busy? I just have the small dents so they said by tuesday. I took a tour of this guys shop, pretty nifty stuff if it can all make my car like new. The guy guaranteed it so we'll see. Ill post pics whenever i get it back.

My dodge neon is so stipped bare it is like the most basic car ive ever seen. More basic that a vw bug almost. manual windows, mirrors, no dome light, the radio doesnt work, NO CLUTCH DAMNIT!@# hehe.

Dirty - I know you're being facetious, so I'll leave you be....

Anyway, my car was "estimated" to be done by this Wed, but that didn't happen. They had to take off the front/rear bumpers, front corner fenders, side skirts, trunk spoiler, door handles, and side view mirrors (1-2 days), they had to fit the body kit to the car (1-2 days), install/fit the vertical doors (1-2 days), paint the car and body kit with bumper w/ 3-stage IP (2 days), then the have to put all of the parts back onto the car (1-2 days) - plus you throw in a couple days of down time, and voila.... 2.5 weeks!!

And not to mention, I'm not the only car that they are working on...

Oh well, I'll post some pics once it's done... should be sweet...
