Re: Scratches underneath door handles!!

you can cut/put a few pieces of clear bra scraps under there. I think you can order the parts precut for like <$10.

I have some scrap, but not sure how much.

When my dynashield was installed, door cup pieces were part of the package.

The scratches are normal, and if you purchase or have a fine polishing compound, you'll be just fine...
Try using a polish first, if that doesn't remove them, then go for a scratch remover/compound product......Finish up with a good wax and you should be fine.....
Remember, don't rub too much with any compound, you may make it worse than better.

Re: Scratches underneath door handles!!

I detail a few cars on the side, so I speak from experience. Mother's Prewax Cleaner is some of the best stuff I have ever used to restore a cars finish. If it doesn't bring back a paint's shine, your next step is abrasive polishing compounds. I can just about guarantee that is will remove the scratches you have around the door handle, then put a coat of wax on. It will also remove the yellow haze on old headlights, remove light/moderate oxidation, stains that don't wash out of the paint, brightens up chrome.... I love the stuff. Then use the sealer/glaze if you like, or just a coat of wax. I am starting to like the Meguirs NXT wax for the final coat to though.
