You lose a lot of HP in the process of putting it to the pavement. For example my 06 6MT is advertised as having 298 HP, but put it on the dyno and you'll be lucky to get 240 whp. More like 235. Even after all my mods and a tune I'm only putting down 266.
How come those damn 3G TL have less crank HP and they're already high tune at factory form with 3.2L engine and when they do bolt-on they beat us at the wheel power? I know that we lost more power than them due to rear wheel, but most of them claim up in the 270-285whp. I still love the G thou.

And there is no way he'll get 275 whp from just those bolt ons... more like 250.
I'm at 259 whp with intake/spacer/exhaust. I have yet to install my mrev2 and test pipes.

You guys miss this?

Last I checked the 5at and 6mt had the same HP rating.

Only thing that had different ratings in 03/04 was the sedan vs coupe (260 - 280)

No?

Is your SN supposed to mean Agent Failure?

A manual transmission does not give you 15 extra horsepower..

They both come with the same HP and the 03 sedans were UNDER RATED at 260 hp. Same motor same everything, it still makes the same power as the 280 rated G's.

In fact, say an 04 MT coupe races an 04 MT sedan with the same driving capabilities.. The sedan would be faster due to it weighing less.

Difference between MT and AT is the gear ratios.. MT-3.5 Final Drive, AT-3.3 Final drive..

Wait so my car is actually rated at 280 crank? What with the under rating?

I take coupes all the time, they may look a little nicer, but I'm faster and still have a useful back seat/trunk

Speed doesn't make up for the lack of mods there is for the sedan though

Subtract 35 WHP from those numbers.
