I attempted to teach the girl how to drive a MT with my G. She stalled about 5 times or so cause she didn't give it enough gas and let off the clutch to soon. Eventually the car went into "limp mode" and didn't rev past 2000 rpms (fuel cut-off). I turned off the car for 15 min and reset the ECU with the pedal/key dance and voila, back to normal. Teach her with a civic next time

 

haha my girlfriends car broke down... so i let her drive my G for a week... now my clutch is toast.... haha :[ i learned my lesson.

The same thing happned to me. I just stopped by a gas station and filled it up. Never happned again. Its been months and I never let her drive again no matter how many "favors" she does for me

 

my friend told me to tell you its a precationary thing that the car takes when something liek this happens. (I have no idea wtf is he talking abotu though. LOL)

I trust my girl driving my car, but thats only, ONLY when Im pretty smashed and she is the Desginated Driver.
