Got 400 miles to the Tank !!

i'm pretty satisfied with that tank of gas..haha. I usually get about 340-360. most ever was 380 before this last tank.

whats the most miles that you have gotten out of your tank? I notice that i get better mileage depending on what gas station I pump at

Be careful about running fuel low regularly, as the pump system is a new returnless design and fuel cools pump exclusively.

Would hate to see members replacing pumps early at 80,000 miles.

I use exxon/mobil exclusively and the most i've gotten is 250 to the tank. How sad is that! Stupid NYC traffic, and stupid heavy right foot.

Similar here. I drove my G from Diamond Bar to Phoenix to spend the weekend. I was at 430 miles, and about 2 ticks above empty, when I filled up to return home.

I would never go through one of those gas station car washes. You're gonna end up with swirls on your car like crazy. Have fun damaging your paint.

Re: Got 400 miles to the Tank !!

I concur.
not only that, pump gas arent fully clean.
there are still some debris that can be found through via pump station.
with my dirtbikes and sportbikes, I've always used a filtered funnel when i pour fuel in. I do the same with my cars...it's kinda time consuming...but it ensures a clean fuel system none the less. with what i've written, I've always filled the tank as soon as the marker hits 1/4 full.

on a full tank of gas, i've managed about 340, 2nd line to the last bar on the fuel gauge. the car would probably hit 360 by the time it hits the last bar, 400 if I run it dry.
