2 vw gti vr6's(both w/ exhausts)-...SMOKED EM! puahahaha!!!..up to 70mph already about 5 car lengths ahead
Prelude typeSH(w/ exhaust)- about 4 car lengths by 80 mph...then he started pulling hard n catchin up..prolly NOS!!

'03 m3- kept up with him most of the time but he started pullin away...

HmM maybe if i had a 6mt...

Anyhow regardless of the results... i just got over the 1200 mi break in period so i got to DRIVE DA HELL out of it for the first time!! luv that exhaust tone when its full throttle!!

From experiance, The prelude SH is slow as hell and an exaust isn't gonna help it that much. The friggin thing is slower than the base model caue it's hevier!! Oh by the way anyone want to buy a 97 prelude SH? Sounds like you had fun man can wait till I can do the same!

 

if your from sacramento then you probably remember the white rock races which they dont have anymore bcoz of the 5-O stakeouts but a lot of peeps still go to in-n-out on sunrise near coloma every fri/sat and the cars i raced were all on south sunrise

yeah im from sac. i used to race my turbo mr2 out at the street races. i was a couple of times during those stings by the cops, got chased a few times too. i didnt think they still street race cause of all the strict fines that come with it.

 

I remeber someone was mentioning Eclipse in one of the other posts. I just have two words for ya, "they suck". How can someone mention a Mitsubishi Eclipse and the "G" in the same sentence!? That thing couldn't even keep up with my Maxima! The light was completely red, so I stopped, but this guy started honking his horn, and wanted be to go through. After the light turned green, I stepped on the gas, and this guy tried to pass me, but he quickly fell behind. And this was in a Maxima (98), imagine what would happen if I took him out in the "G"?! All the Eclipse drivers go back to your holes, and never mention the "G" in the same sentence as an Eclipse again! Enough said. Impatiently waiting for my "Z" order "G35 coupe".

 

zorro depends on what eclipse your talking about. You probably ran against the one from fast and the furiouse, GS or RS. those have a neon engine in them.

the GST or GSX has the actual mitsubishi engine in them.
don't mention it in the same sentence? Eclipse GSX vs. my G35 coupe. Sorry but the winner is the GSX, it has more then you can handle [img]/w3timages/icons/smile.gif[/img]. More then the damn clutch can handle too. You want to race a real eclipse? come over and I'll arrange it.

Zorro I have to say you are a freakin idiot to bash on a eclipse, especially a turbo GS-T or GSX. Either one of those with slight mods will toast your slow going Maxima or your future G. You must easily disrespect and put down others to make yourself feel better. The only Eclipse you seem to be putting down are the GS model which has no turbo and is in the same category as a civic. Stop being ignorant and learn some facts before talking outta your ***. I will say it over and over again for you, Mitsubishi Eclipse vs. the Infiniti G35.
DOn't be saddened because a slightly modded Eclipse can easily run 12's in the 1/4 mile. Be prepared to get raped by aplenty of tuned Eclipses out there.

First of all dude I have a g35 coupe 6MT I also had a 91 eagle talon TSi AWD Turbo which is basically an Eclipse which i had hooked up to race and when i first started hooking up the car i threw in a front mount intercooler, a hks wastegate, greddy blow off valve, and a boost controller by those tiny little mods i ran a 12.7. I love my G, but there is no way in hell an eclipse can beat a G unless its the base model. Get your facts right bro

Maybe you can get mods for an ugly looking eclipse (besides, the cheap enterior), but base without any mods is still slower than base "G35".

 

Eclipse? Bring it on...SVT aluminum twisted wedge R series heads are finally here will being ported and installed on Wed...got a little small block horse to fix that GSX problem and he better be running high tens in the 1/4- Unless they wanna rumble on the ol' road course.....Once had a 3000GT keep up for a few laps but turbos don't do well with 100 degree days when the track hits 140+...Not a pretty site I am afraid...
