G Coupe Blew Engine in less than 48HRS
People people people thank you all for your concern. honestly i should run but ive had nothing but a good experience with the dealership. they helped me finance my car at a great payment for 36 months and helped me even when id been on my job for 5 months. they have answered all of my ?s over a week + of deliberation and im totally confident with their cars due to their immaculent inventory. the warranty was worth it and ive had no headache from them lesst than a week down will have a lower miledge fully warrantied engine not new but better than b4 and a sweat deal on a car that was 15500 out the door tax tag and title beat that. nothing but 1500 outta pocket!!! got oics of the hole tooooo

lol
GL with everything. I hope you stay as happy as you have been with your new car.
If something sounds too good to be true then it probably is.
You get what you pay for. For 13k i bet the rod knock wasn't the only thing wrong with this car. You'll be back we'll say hate to say i told ya so

Im lost! So the OP is going to take the used engine? And Infiniti is doing the work? I agree with Phantoms, someone said earlier that rod knock is a tell tail sign of forced induction on its last leg and this dude dont think the tranny is next? OP get your dough back they are laffing at you bigtime!
With experience comes wisdom. I'm sure he will be passing on his lessons learned here to future generations of G owners on this forum. I just hope he doesn't pay too much for the lesson. Good luck and I hope things turn out well.
The dealership is probably snickering at this as we speak... "Another fool out the door!"
Usually when someone comes on a forum and consults fellow members about an issue, there might be a divided response. People will elaborate on why they think they're correct or why they think the other person is wrong. However, doesn't common sense kick in when EVERY SINGLE ONE of them says "don't do it"? Good luck to you, sir, because like everyone's saying, you're gonna need it. If I were you, I'd go to Walmart (save up money while you can for the future troubles) and buy a 2x4, nail it somewhere in the car so that every time you get in, you can knock on it.
