any thoughts on sunroof air deflector?

i am thinking of removing the air deflector on the sunroof. it looks like a cheap, plastic part and breaks up the lines of the cars. any reason i should not do this?

Shouldn't have gotten it in the first place. It's ugly and for the most part non-functional. With the sunroof open the cab is not particularly windy or noisy. Definitely take it off.

Its definitely not part of the premium package. The dealer was probably just trying to dress up the car. At least you didn't get charged for it. In any case I'd remove it, although I'm not sure about how they are attached. Hopefully it didn't involve any drilling of holes...

I bet $50 beans he padi for it!!! The dealer probably hid the costs somewhere!!! Dealers won't give anything away for free, especially without even being asked for it! They factored that cost in for sure.
I too, say remove it!!!

Re: any thoughts on sunroof air deflector?

taking it off was painless. just 2 metal clips that hooked on to the base of the sunroof. no drill holes =)

Re: any thoughts on sunroof air deflector?

naw, i checked that i didnt get charged for it. i got a good deal on my car and made sure the installed package prices matched the prices on edmunds.com, totalled it all together, and paid 750 over dealer invoice. even used the dealer invoice prices on the options instead of the msrp prices. they tried to get me to pay destination and marketing assessment, but i told them destination was already built in and there is no fkn way ill pay for their marketing! btw - when you gonna send me my 50 beans? ^-^
