lol at this thread.

I waited for a year for the price to drop before I got mine. It never dropped and they are still the same price. The trick to finding a good deal is to go to an auto auction and by the car at wholesale.

Just pony up and buy one. You'll get to enjoy it over the summer

depends where you are, if you're in a snowy area, they might fall a few grand at the end of fall, but if you're like Cali or AZ or FL, i doubt it will. Most likely what you'll see is depreciation as the cars get older and accumulate more miles...

I have a feeling that G35 coupe prices will drop in a few months when more G37 coupe leases expire.

+1 on that.
The G coupe has proven to hold a fairly high resale value for a car in its class. As it ages and has more mileage it might get cheaper BUTT, then you'll have to deal with expensive repairs. Since most cars (independent of manufacturer) seem to develop problems right about 80K. Buy one now if you can afford it, then enjoy your Summer, they're a blast.

I think the G35 is going to drop to a point and stay there. And I only mean the coupe. It's not like they are gonna be selling for 3,000 in 2 years. One thing that will make the price go down slightly is running out of factory warranty as it gets older, so you better get it now. If you get an 06-07 and get OC with no warranty, you're ****ed.

The car is only 2-3 years old, yeah it depreciated a lot over the first couple years but that's normal. Honestly, once the economy gets back on track - I think the prices will drop a lot slower. If you really want a G and the price is a huge issue, why not just pick up an 05?
