It's going to depend on the specific demand in your area actually... In some areas, the demand far exceeds the supply... so if you're not willing to pay MSRP, then the next fella in line most certainly will.

 

I would definitely get a price agreement before the car comes in. Once the car comes in, and you try to drop a bomb on them, I personally think they would be more likely to walk away because they can easily sell the car to someone else at MSRP. I believe if you get them early, they have already accepted the price you negotiated. Of course then they try to get you on the back end. But atleast you can calculate this. Do you plan to buy or lease?

here im again, u guys are saying they wont sell anything less than msrp... but u have to realize most people buying this car are getting a 6MT, not 5AM, thats why they wont lower the price for the 6MT,b/c everyone wants one, but unlike the 5AM, which i think they gonna have a few on the lot, so maybe someone who gotten a auto should speak for the pricing . but im thankful for the INFO you guys are sharing

 

i got the auto... premium package option and floor matt whcih cost me an additional 70 bucks... BLK BLK COUPE for a total of $34 140... i got it straight msrp.. they didnt make any additional money on top of the msrp...and plus blk blk coupe AUTOMATIC is hard 2 find when i bought it and probably still is/.

I bought my DG Coupe, Premium, G Interior back in Mid-Nov. Just a few weeks after the Coupe came out. I paid exactly MSRP. Got treated like crap (in my opinion) probably because I'm young (23 yrs old). Got my own loan (4.99% at my company's federal credit union with an A credit rating), put down about 12 grand and my payments are $430/month over 5 years. Check out www.edmunds.com for the True Market Value in your area and that will give you an idea. Last check in my neck of the woods (MD) it was selling $300 below MSRP. Remember it's hard to deal on a car that's in such high demand but if it's not to your liking then walk. Unfortunately I couldn't. Good luck!
