Recommendations for G35 coupe tires
Does that mean you can put 225/45R18 on all 4 or should you do the bigger size of 245/45R18?
Im curious too...There is no treadwear rating. Does that mean they have not been tested?
Here is a link for the tire:

Never heard of this tire before.

I have not verified this fact but have read many, many times that treadwear ratings are meaningless when comparing different brands of tires. Apparently, there is no universal scale so the treadwear rates are only appliable when comparing different models of tires from the SAME MANUFACTURER.
I know this sounds ludicrous........

For sure what i know is that lower treadwear has better traction, but it doesnt last long.
Higher treadwear AS tires, dont have as much traction but last longer.
What happens if we increase the sidewall from 245/45R18 to 245/55R18? Any problems with that?
but dont see anything wrong with it, other than your tire is going to look fat and if your lowered you might rub.
i've had mine on since december and i love 'em. they're quiet, cool tread pattern and they take detailing gels rather easy. i've had about 6k miles on them so far and no issues as of yet. they're much cheaper than the stock potenzas. tread wear is 280, i believe. i will definitely be sticking with this brand if at all possible even if i change vehicles or rims--best bang for the buck. if you do a search on here and my350z, you'll pull up several threads. try performanceplustire.com since they have the best prices.

I have an '03 Coupe with 18's and had always been running the original style Pilot Sports. About a year ago I went with the Pilot Sport PS2's. What a difference. They are better in every way. They perform better in every way and they are also so quiet and smooth it was like driving a new car. After a year, they are still quiet and wearing well. No hint of the dreaded tire roar.
The only other tire I would consider is the Goodyear GSD which seems to always come out on top in tire tests. But I would like to talk to someone who has had the PS2 and the GSD on their G for an opinion. But from my standpoint, the PS2 would be hard to beat.
