Recommendations for G35 coupe tires
Agree, just put the invo's on my G and put 3k miles on them in a little over a week in a trip from orlando to northern michigan and back. They are great performers, good ride, and quieter than the crap bridgestones that came on it. I have to agree with others, tires is an area to not go cheap, you get what you pay for. I paid 530 for two 245/40/19 invo's mounted and balanced on my G. As soon as the fronts wear out, they'll be getting two new invo's as well. I will continue to run these tires until I get rid of the car.
Where were you guys when I asked this same question, as well as searched? if you search, all the tire threads are about different sizes, not brands/makes.
Which Michelin Sports should I consider then?the Pilot Sport PS2? the regular Pilot Sport doesnt seem to be available in the stock rear size.

Kumho tires
I just replaced my tires with 4 Kumho's. Tirerack.com would have been able to do it with a local installer for $813 installed, with shipping, my out the door price. But it would have taken 3 days for the tires to get here so I talked to discount tire, and they were willing to do it for $825 out the door that same day (about $100 off their web price).
Since I had a 3 inch lag screw in one of my tires, with the head sticking out about a 1/4", I went with discount tire. Amazing that the tire didn't blow, I got lucky.
The tires have been great. Versus the OEM tires that I had, the Kumhos are a more cushioned ride, but still grippy. I'm not a drag-racer so I appreciate the extra cushion, but I don't feel like I've sacrificed much, if any, performance.

I'm rollin on Yoko S.drives 245/35/19 F and 255/40/19 R on the stock Rays. awesome set for me, I've been thru the stockers (BLAH!) and some Nitto's 555's (til they stopped making factory sizes) and I loved the Nittos, until I tried out these Yoko's. The S.drive gives a slightly louder ride (very slight) than the nittos but the grip is much more solid. The sidewall flex is down without a huge sacrifice to our Friday night cruises comfort. I have less than 1k miles on em but I will rock these til they come out with NT05's with a 240+ wear life
HANKOOK TIRES!!
V12evo or S1evo
They are cheap also. I paid $220 for OEM RAY size installed in front and 240 for rear!
Maybe it's cheap cuz my friend knows the owner of the tire shop.

I have this same setup. I love it, the car feels solid and they look amazing on the Rays
