I used Discount Tire but checked with Tire Rack as well....Discount was a little cheaper with the rebate they were offering.

www.vulcantires. com and I believe onlinetires are two other places you might also want to check out. I've bought from tirerack before with very good luck.

I've done Discount Tire, but now get my local Nissan dealer to match any prices I find. They also give me half price alignments and free rotations.
That's Modern Nissan of Lake Norman for folks in the CLT neighborhood.

Wow...that is a great deal! I have seen tire places advertise price matching from everywhere but online stores.

DiscounttireDirect.com! They're awesome and a lot cheaper than Tirerack. Free shipping too.

This is all true but....they won't mount on aftermarket wheels! FAIL! And their prices aren't as good as my local shop or TireRack....why bother?

Because it is one stop shopping instead of having the tires shipped to either your house and then you have to get them to the installer or finding an installer that is affiliated with TireRack.

And not everyone has aftermarket rims.

Bully for you and your local shop...not everyone is lucky enough to be close enough to use your local shop.

Why don't you shut up if you aren't going to help?

I bought my first set of tires from Tirerack for my 05 g35. Shipped within 4 days and no problem with the local installer, plus I got a 60.00 rebate. That will be the only place I will buy tires from now on.

Is there a difference between discounttire.com and discounttiredirect.com?

I never knew costco offered free balancing and alignment. What kind of guarantee does costco offer?

discounttiredirect.com has the best prices, free shipping and no tax. Buy them online then take them to their brick and motor stores america's tire and they will install and give you free rotations and tire repairs for the life of the tires. Really the best deal around. They take care of their customers very well. Been buying tires this way for 10 years.
