06 Projector Headlights

Hello everyone,

I just bought a used set of 06 Projector Headlights on Ebay. I just want to make sure I'm not crazy... the high beam bulb only requires the single yellow wire to work? I know the low beam has the silver wires that connect to the ballast. How does the single yellow wire connect to the bulb? I have not purchased my bulbs yet so I cannot get a clear picture in my head. Thanks.

It connects to the bottom of this:

The black is grounded to the housing.

Don't worry, I bought mine without bulbs. If you need help, PM me. The bulbs cost "next to nothing"...

To answer your question, I paid a very good price on these headlights and there is no problem at all buying headlights without bulbs.

What kind of bulb is that? I was under the impression that the 06 headlights uses D2S bulbs for both the high beam and low beam. But now that I look at this, I think the high beam uses that bulb shown in the picture. The Lamp Replacement Guide at the Lighting section said it uses D2S bulbs. Thanks.

HAHA that was a retarded statement. It's like me saying "You bought your G without the trunk mat? I hope you paid next to nothing!"
