Here to defend the JDM badging being called rice
When I bought my car, the previous owner had done full exterior badge swap. I must say I liked how it looked and it representing that its just a basic nissan but I removed all of them and swapped the infiniti emblem back into the grille because I was sick of every wannabe car guy saying, "Thats not really a skyline, skylines are turbocharged and awd!" I just hate explaining to retards that they were wrong and attempting to educate them.
if they dont know that the G35 is sold as the Skyline 350GT over seas, odds are that theyre not driving something that can outrun the G35. and if they are then you just ignore them or try to explain to them. but theyre probably driving a pos, so you wont have to worry about anything but challenging them to the track and that should shut their mouth.
the badges are like what? $20? the "real" deal is $5k... hmmm...
rice.
Pretty much every one of my concerns has been voiced cept for one thing...PLEASE...PLEEEAAASE dont' make your 350GT badging your VERY FIRST change

Oh yea, and S and X badges...I hate you
(ok ok, unless you have a sedan)

I only think it's rice if it's mix and matched. I say if you put on one JDM badge, you better change out everything else. This includes:
Trunk, front grille, aluminum door sills, steering wheel cover, floor mats, and the seat stitching.
If you don't do that, your car is having an identity crisis.
I HATE it whenever I see a G35 that is re-badged to "SKYLINE 350GT" but still has the Mt. Fuji emblem.
If you re-badge to "SKYLINE 350GT", change your front grille emblem to the Nissan emblem or get a blank Gialla grille or an emblemless grill.
Also, don't go putting any GT-R badges on it. Yes, It's a "Skyline" in Japan, but it's no GT-R.
