Starting the 10,000th thread on this topic is stupid.

 

It's ALL or NOTHING......don't half a$$ it. That is being rice. It's like starting to paint a body panel and leaving the rest of the car a different color. Just my opinion........

 

yep, nothing is different....except for the taillights.....and the headlights......and the power folding mirror option....and the double din....and the digital clock.....and the backup camera option....and the suede interior option....

 

so just because some of us dont want to spend the $5k just to convert to a RHD, youre calling it rice? i dont think you know what the definition of rice is.

 

i forgot about the tails which are a bit darker red and amber turns(the only reason for amber turns is because in some countries where the Skyline 350GT is sold they are required to have amber turns...red isnt allowed)....the headlights are no different from what i can see, and all the rest i see on your list are options...

 

if you want to do something do it all the way

you dont see me buying half a turbo kit and installing it and saying im turbo because i cant afford the whole thing

 

thats totally different than converting your car to a RHD just to "complete" the transition.

if our car has nothing to do with the Nissan Skyline 305GT, then why do our cars have Nissan stamped parts on them? These cars are sold in the US as Infiniti G35's because the people in the US are more focused on brand names and they can charge more for an Infiniti branded car than they could a Nissan branded one.

im done with this arguement anyways....its going to be never ending. I like MY car the way it is. I dont care what other people think or say about it.

 

The jdm headlights have RHD cutoffs which face in the opposite direction. The digital clock was not an option. The options were still not available here. Your argument that they are the exact same car is wrong. I could care less about what type of badging you want to run, but don't try to justify it by saying they are the exact same car.

 

minor differences....all the major(engine, body, chassis) things about the 2 cars are the same. if they were different cars then why do the 2 cars share parts so flawlessly? sure they have minor differences and options, but thats like saying the basic G35 and the sport package G35 are different cars because they have different options.

you guys are acting like we're taking Acura badges and sticking them on our Honda's....thats the definition of rice....not what we're doing. those people are trying to make their cars something that they arent.....we're just taking off our masks to reveal our true indentities.
