Radiator/Cooling fan On most of time

I was just wondering if it is normal that the fan seems to be on almost all the time when the car is at operating temperature. It will stay on for a few minutes and then turn off for a minute, and then the process repeats.I have a 95 maxima and it doesnt seem to do this, or maybe the fan isnt as loud as the one in the G. Also i noticed that the coolant/antifreeze is above the high marker in the reservior tank.

That's normal. My '04 Coupe does the same thing. The G35's engine and engine bay really get hot. I guess the fan is programmed to turn on at a certain engine bay temp.

Coolant temp, not engine bay temp.

The ecu controls the electric cooling fan see page 498-503 of section EC in FSM.
Function of coolant temp and AC pressure: Essentially if up to 203F thru 211F it is on low speed under 25 mph unless the AC pressure is too high then goes to High speed or at 212F-221F depending on road speed.

Use an OBD2 scannner or consult to read coolant temp accurately and pressure gauges to check AC pressure or just speed up above 25 mph or 50 mph depending on conditions to lower fan speed.

AC @> 230 psi under 25 mph and 212F will run fan on high should slow down to low at 30 mph after a minute or two.

When I leave mine parked for a few minutes with the ac on not only do the fans run overtime but the heat that comes out by the doors will almost burn your legs.

Duh! obviously. Not if it's 32F outside.

Reading [studying] the 3000+ pages of the Factory Service Manual is very enlightning.

6 grams of air needs 0.4 grams of fuel per second or 1440 grams per hour 1440/454= 3.172 pounds of gasoline per hour or ~~6.344 HP x 12,000= 76,123 BTU/hour of waste heat without AC on with AC on ~~100,000 BTU per hour just idling.........enough to heat a small house in a cold winter.

Idling consumes almost a gallon per hour with AC on. ZERO [actually negative MPG]
Reality check: 1 gallon of Summer oxygenated gasoline contains/creates roughly 110,000-115,000 BTU when burned correctly.
