New clutch already slipping?

Hey all,

Stock clutch went out back in April and got it replaced in May. I got the Competition Clutch Kit (stage 2 with lightened flywheel). I did the normal 500mile breakin as required. In the last week or so i've noticed the engagement point on the new clutch is about at the top of the clutch petal and when driving if i give it a bit of gas the RPM's will increase the drop back down to the normal place. I've only put about 2000 miles on the car since i've replaced the clutch. Is it possible for it to wear that quickly? I'm no means great a driving stick but i'm not THAT bad at it either!

Additional parts that went in while the clutch was replaced:
Nismo Roller Bearing
Chromly Pivot Ball
Nismo Braided Clutch lines

Any ideas? I'm gonna take it back to the shop on monday to get it checked out but i would really rather not have to replace the clutch again if at all possible.

Thanks!

I can't offer any solutions, but thanks for posting. Clutch was recently replaced for me too, no signs of extreme wear yet. If I find anything helpful to add, I'll know where to post now.
