Seat Rip Recall?

I've tried searching this already, but couldnt find an exact answer.

My drivers side seat near the door side is ripping like crazy and I saw a post, and the person said that that is a recall. Is this true?

I am not under warranty anymore, so I wanted to know if I could take this to infiniti and they would replace it.

Thanks

There is no recall on them, but people have gotten th bottom cushion replaced when they were still in the warranty period

if your not under warranty then its no good for you.
your best bet is buy some used leather at the market place and get yours replaced. ive seen some for sale for a few weeks now

Wow never knew that. I am printing out the service bulletin and taking it to Infiniti. Only thing is I just lowered my car and I swear they have the biggest speed bump. More like speed curbs

On the topic of driver's seat, does the bottom cushion heat up considerably like the upper (back) part of the cushion? I don't seem to feel anything in that cushion, but when I sat in my friend's Honda element and turned on the seat warmers I burnt my a$$ lol. Just curious, I'm gonna try out the passenger side today and see if I can feel anything on my bum on that side.

+1, its a wear and tear part...if youre in warranty its covered, if not you need to buy new leather or take it into an upholstery shop for repair. im pretty sure that there is no tsb.
