they definitely come that way as I bought mine new and it did that from day one. I agree with some of you on the fact that I like it.

LOL, I immediately got a mental picture of what I do every time I open my door.

It took my girlfriend a bit longer to learn though, I had fun watching the door hit her leg a couple of times when she tried to get out.

LMAO, I thought only my G had that problem. My driveway is inclined and it is pretty steep so it's a bitch for me.

They make the doors not stay open so you cant ghost ride the whip...:/ sorry mah nigs

i just put my foot on the bottom of the door plate to prop it open.

Can you really swap out the ribbed thing inbetween the hinges and fix the issue? I remember my coupe holding the door open just fine 2-3 years ago. Take a photo of the piece that you need to swap out.

This is a year old thread. Anyways from what ive been told by some nissan techs is the door is counterweighted to close by itself. Thats why they are so heavy.
