Ok, here is a short story.
I went blockbuster and rolled window up and got out of the car. When I came back, the passanger side window was half way open. It was weird but I just let it passed.
I parked my car at home, and turned off the car.
I took out the keys and roll the window up, but once it hit the top, passanger side window rolls down more than half way and stops. I pulled up again and it roll down. so, I pulled up and when it hit the top I open the door to stop it. and it worked.
Well, so I made appointment with dealer about my problem and a lady said they had this problem before.
Next day, my car decided to not do that anymore. I was worried it will happen again. Because I have PS2, extra LCD monitor in back for PS2, and bunch of goodies in car.
So, I went to dealership and this guy told me that they can't fix it unless it does it again. So I argued about 20minute(I told him it happened to other people, so fix the way you fixed them) He didn't help much( I didn't like the guy at first sight, I liked the lady who works there). So, he told me if I can get a paper work of other G35 driver with same problem, more than 2 or so, he will fix it if the parts that they fixed are same. So I am here to ask for help...actually ask for you guys paper work with dealership. If I can get a help it will be great for my G35's sake

You are not the only one , I'll take it in this friday and they can do it in one day a few month ago was my driver side and they fixed that too,it have been so much rain here in florida and I like to drive with window down. Good luck.

 

Somewhere there is a long post on this topic. Just print that out and take it in as proof and see if they will honor that. I am having the same problem and taking it in next week for a fix. If you still need paperwork by then I'll be happy to fax you the work order. Keep us posted and goodluck!

Yehh well your lucky your windows even worked, my window motors just burnt out! lol

I'm just lucky my dealer will replace it in one day because they want the loner back

 

My passenger side window did that once last week.

To fix it, I didn't let the window go up automatically (didn't use one-touch up). I held the "window up" button and continued to hold it for a few extra seconds after the window was already up. That seems to have cleared the problem (for now). Everything works normally since then.

When/ if it happens again I won't correct the problem and will drive it to a dealer...

What a joke!

 

I just took mines in to get the motor int he drivers wondow replaced. They did tell me it is a common problem and took care fo it. Now its working fine.
