IS It WORTH IT FOR THE 2003 G?

Hi everyone I asked if i should get the 05 or 03 in the previous post things changed and the 05 seems too good to be true, i did a carfax and she told me that she was the orginal owner and carfax says she is the 4th owner so ima pass on that, now the the 03 the owner changed his mine after another buyer told him not to sell it for less than 15 so the price is 15k now. Also the carfax on this car checks out good, he just owes the bank money and ill have to wait for the pink.

Option 1:
2003 g35 fully loaded
has navi
brembo brakes
Bose subwoffer
2nd owner
40k miles
Price 15k (is it worth it)
clean title
spoiler
6 speed

i think option 1 is the better choice but i would get option 2 just cuz i like the updated interior and the oem navi kinda sucks..

^+1...

I have an 03.... if your going heavy mods.. none of those options will matter anyways...

I'm in the process of converting my interior (which is probably the only reason I would want an 05 over an 03)

from the specs - 03. much less miles and comes with much more. the nav is a nice feature to have. i didn't like it at first but love it now. very useful.

Ah yes, choices...."Good Luck!"

I'd go with the '05 just for the upgrades and the warranty. If the engine has OC issues you're covered! Your choice, but you'll enjoy either one once you're sitting behind the wheel....

yeah but i bet if you get an 03, you're gonna wish you had 05+ interior! interior part outs for 05+ are hard to come by also..

Those prices sound awfully low. I sell cars for a living so I'm always looking at cars on the auction. Make sure you get a carfax or autocheck, and bring it to a mechanic. When it's too good to be true.. there is something wrong :|

We have a few g's here @ my dealership around that price range, but the interior and exterior are beat up like crazy, has multiple accidents, etc. *eek*

But.. if I had to pick one, I would go with the 2005. The interior looks a lot better and you get a little bit of the factory warranty also. If you are looking to keep the car for a long time, get yourself an extended warranty; it is well worth it!

I purchased a 2006 g35c this past Tuesday from my own dealership including an extended warranty [7 yr/100,000 miles] for only $1650. There is nothing to lose; the warranty is refundable if you don't use it & you will be covered bumper to bumper!! weeee!

I bought a 2003 6MT a year ago, with brembo and bose, it came with an aftermarket nav, rims and tint.
I love this car, but have had some electrical problems, the passanger window motor stopped working as soon as i bought it, and then about a week ago my bose cd changer crapped out (which effects a/c controler) sun roof twice had trouble closing but it eventually did close.

I dumped alot of money into this car, exhaust, hfc, coilovers, sways, stereo system, rotors, pads, pop charger, ect ect ect...

(just today I decided to go all out and get focal k2 front component speakers!!!)

so bascially the electrical crap is no big deal to me, because I love my car!

ive had it from 58K-72K, and maintanced it regularly, runs GREAT only neg is some rattling, but I think it can be fixed (or improved)

Only reason id go for a 2005 is the uprev engine, i think its more hp and the electrical might be better?? or maybe just not break until 2011... center console arm rest is nicer in 2005. But no spoiler is bad, 2003 whale tail spoiler looks the best on a G!
