rear net in Trunk: Whats up with the ring setup?

I had my car painted (the whole thing) a couple months back, and i guess they had to remove the net and stuff frmo the trunk. Upon opening my trunk when i got it back, i noticed the net didnt fit right like it did before. I suspect it was how they reassembled it.

Is this how the two plugs are supposed to be? because there is a third one on the bottom, was there supposed to be one of the two hook plugs down there? Is the setup wrong?

And how do i pull one out to fix it wihtout breaking it? I tried using a thin screw driver but it didnt work.

Edit: Pic added. Whoops! LOL
