Lightbulb 2004 G35 Coupe - Service Engine Soon Light

I recently purchased a G35 coupe like last week and a week later the service engine light soon light came on. Is this the same as a check engine light or does the light come on when you need to get maintenance or something. My car has 70K miles and its a 2004. Have you guys had any problems around that mileage or know what some typical problems are with this year and model . Thanks!

Follow the ecu resetting instructions and your light should go off unless you actually have a problem with your engine. Timing is critical took me about like 7-8 tries to get it right get like a stop watch.

Go to Autozone; they'll read the code for you.

I would advise before resetting the ecu, you may want to check if there's an actual problem with the car. +1 Go to Autozone.

If he has a problem then the ses light will still be on after reset. Plus autozone don't do it anymore atleast not where I live the guy said that they dont offer that service anymore cause they got sued or something.
