I can hear my tranny falling apart

lets say im starting to take off and crawl my way to front of the stop sign on 1st gear, and when I get to te stop sign, I press my clutch to shift to neutral.

When I press the clutch, it makes a VERY LOUD "CLUNK" noise, close to sounding like a huge metal piece being dropped on another metal piece.
It sounds like when I engage my clutch, it drops a 50 lbs. metal block on another metal part of my tranny.

WTF? tranny problem or just worn clutch? I have 2 months left till my factory warranty is over. mine is 05 coupe.

should i take it to the dealer?

If the dealership is gonna charge you good money just to diagnose it, take it to a transmission shop or something to get a second opinion to make sure no one is bull****ting you.

I think its making the loud clunking noise because I suddenly press clutch while in such high RPM on 1 st gear? anyone experience this with theyr 6mts?

Yes it will do that. I have learned to slowly press on the clutch and it doesnt do it, or shift to second and then clutch.

It still does it accidently sometimes when i'm not paying attention to how fast i'm clutching

I find the 6MT transmissions are sucky for the smoothness factor....
But on the other hand, when I drive hard, it doesn't let me down
The 4th gear is the worst downshift to
