and yea could i go to the dealership and get some touch up paint and they could maybe paint it over for me since i just got the car only about 3-4 months ago
this stuff is CRAP!! I got buy one get one free just pay for shipping and handling, daym shipping and handling cost more than the two pens combined.. hahaha I tried it, it DOESNT WORK... left clear drip stains, from the commercial the only scratch it with a needle or safety pen, which is a very light scratch, easily repairable with some rubbing compound...

dont buy this fix it pen, it SUCKS B@LLS.. wasted time and money...

Unless it's repetitive, your insurance wont increase... it's vandalism.

alright so i went to this one place today in gainesville and this guy said hell do it for 200 and then after talking to him he said hell do it for 100....i was confused on the massive drop in cash and i dont wanna go with a low baller because im scared hell mess up or something but at the same time he seemed to know what he was talking about (he said hell clear coat it and buff it and then repaint with some paint he put in the computer to match mine and only do a small section around the scratch so that its not noticeable) does that sound right?

Try using the Infiniti touch up pen. But I would recommend letting it dry, wetsanding, and then repeating the process to touch it up. When you are happy with it, compound the door and rebuff it. Since youre doing it yourself you would save quite a bit of cash, in case it happens again (which it mostlikely will if you continue to drive it to school).

^ it can be very easy to mess up your paint if you don't know what you're doing, and in this case I assume this is a younger member who could potentially make the problem worse

It's not considered collision so the premium won't go up. Mines didn't at least. Call your insurance up. It doesn't hurt to ask.
