Search around a bit, you can certainly PUT the Mrev on a non-rev up, but the gains are minimal.

your better off shaving some weight off your G then to spend the money on an MREV 2 and instal it on a non-rev up motor.

rev up is 05+ 6MT only. gives you an extra 18 ponies.

also has oil problems.

use the search button bro.. you'll be suprised where it takes you.

An MREV2 makes similar gains on a nonrevup motor as a spacer. If you add it to a nonrevup that already has a spacer then the gains are minimal.

My Revup doesn't have an oil burning issue

You can call Tony @ MotorDyne 661-993-5111 to get his advice but the MREV2 was designed for the revup motors '05+. All the '03/'04 motors needs is their spacer. If you have the MREV2 and spacer like they recommend and go FI it will work fine without any other mods.

Yea, my engine may be pretty young too, 44K on my 05 6MT and I have very minimal oil consumption. The Mrev2 doesn't affect that, your engine either has OC issues or it doesn't from what I've read...can anyone confirm ALL, EVERY, 100% of UpRev motors have OC?

I have the mrev 2 and the 1/2 inch plenum spacer on my 05 coupe 6 speed and I have not had any problems with mine. I have had it installed for about 20k miles and I love it. I can def feel the difference and was def worth it for the price. I will getting in dynoed soon and will post it.

OC problem is from the piston rings

The rev up engines have higher redline than the non rev up.

mrev2 can work on any year model G but more gain will be held with rev up motors.

non rev guys save the cash and just get a spacer only. Getting the mrev2 on non rev will only give about 1-2 hp.. not really worth it for the 400 you'll be spending for it. But if you want that extra hp then do it.
